For sure, the Kindle Electronic Book Reader is lifestyle these days. It's actually considered cool to be seen reading say on the subway or in a restaurant. With it, you'll never run out of things to read. And if you like to read multiple books in parallel, this is your lucky day. They're making their way into schools soon where dead-tree books have been eternally intrinsic. From any angle, the Kindle eBook Reader appears set to stay.

With the launch of Kindle 2 Amazon has integrated the entire business of e-reading. The Electronic Book Reader is not only filled with smart features, it's also connected and mobile just like the cellular phone. It is essentially a cellular eBook reader in that it has wireless coverage anywhere in the US for Amazon bookstores plus browsing text-centric websites like Wikipedia, Google and others.

The original Amazon Kindle wasn't much of a looker but you can't say that about the new Kindle. Looking stylish and a lot more approachable than its predecessor, the Kindle 2 is also an ergonomics masterpiece. Whether it's by chance or choice, the appearance is very Apple-like (iPod) and that's a plus with many folks. But looks aside, it's a functional gem in its own right.

Although the Kindle is likely to attract quite a bit of attention, that's not the intention of the design upon the reader. The objective was in fact to get the reader 'lost in your reading, not the technology'. It has so gallantly replicated the feature of a good physical book to disappear while you're reading it but can't put it down except it's now can't put the Kindle down.

The most distinctive feature of the Amazon eBook Reader is the Whispernet. This is a wireless service for acquiring content and some degree of internet access. It also carries the Whispersync feature which links other Kindles and its associated devices such as the iPhones and iPods plus others in the future. When you Buy Kindle 2, Amazon will pay for the lifetime connectivity of the particular e-reader. The network is 3G-based so it doesn't have to be in a hotspot to operate.

Yes, the Amazon Kindle eBook Reader is but a book. And what a book! It's any book you wish, out of 275,000 and you can carry more than a thousand of them everywhere you go and access the rest in less than 60 seconds. Amazon has publicly stated its goal of availing any book that's ever printed in electronic form for the Kindle within the US. That's a tall order but based on their track record, you don't want to bet against it.

Digital cameras may not need film like in olden times anymore, but the amount of pictures that you can store is still a fundamental facet. And as most digital cameras have a picture capacity which is less than a single analogue film, you will have to get a storage card as the first accessory equipment.

After having bought the first one, you should consider investing in one or more extra memory cards. These cards are an extremely portable accessory and the price of storage is decreasing quickly, and you will be able to do much more with your digital camera if you have the possibility to take lots of pictures between stops to a PC where you can store your pictures.

For instance, if you will be in situations where you will be taking pictures if difficult to reach locales, such as in a national park, you will see how important it is to have the backup that digital camera storage cards can provide, to avoid running out of pictures in the middle of your trip.

But the greatest thing about having several digital camera memory cards is that you will use the camera differently, not more weighing every single picture but having the luxury to take several shots of the same subject and then to choose the best one later.

With many digital cameras, you can take a single shot and the camera will automatically save several, with different lighting and exposure conditions. As a result a single picture will morph into four or five onto your storage card, which is why you will need a lot of storage.

Imagine being in a remote location and being able to take a daily average of two hundred of pictures of interesting subjects, and not of twenty. Would that make a difference on the way that you photograph?

Also, it could happen to you to forget to delete or transfer the contents of the memory to another device like and to find yourself with a full memory when you most need it. Having extra digital storage capacity could mean the difference between taking that wonderful picture and missing out on a priceless moment.

One note of caution though. When buying digital camera storage cards, make sure that you get the right make, because not all memory cards are compatible with any kind of camera brand.

Regarding the amount of memory, nowadays storage cards range from one to 32 GB and more. You should take as much memory as you may need and then some more, spread over two or three cards for redundancy.

Also, if you are going with multiple memory cards as part of your digital camera accessories, you should also consider a card reader, which will allow you to seamlessly transfer your pictures from the card to a PC, or even directly to a digital photo printer, via a USB connection.
